Billing & Fees
We are a mixed billing practice as of Aug 19, 2019
Please note that medical consumables required for some procedures and medical report services will incur additional fees.
Procedures, including but not limited to removal of moles and skin lesions, will attract a gap payment.
Please ask our reception staff if there are any out of pocket expenses for a particular procedure. If you do not hold a valid Medicare card, a charge may apply.
Patients claiming Workers Compensation or Motor Vehicle Claims must pay for their accounts each time until they provide a letter of acceptance and claim number.
Attention all patients
As of 19 Aug we have become a mixed billing practice, billing patients 7 days a week for all appointments.
To find out more, please see reception.
Bulk billing for concession card holders and children under 16 years will still apply.
We appreciate your understanding.
Private billing means everyone will pay, including pensioners, which we do not want to do.
Mixed billing on the other hands means:
Pensioners/health care card holders and children under 16 are bulk billed.
The rest will be privately billed.
Do Not Attend
DNA Policy: If you are unable to attend your appointment, for any reason, please contact the surgery at least 1hr prior to your booking. Late cancellations and/or failure to attend will result in a $30 cancellation fee payable prior to any further bookings.
